Electrocardiogram

An Electrocardiogram, often called a ECG or EKG, is a test that measures the electrical activity of the heart. Electrodes are placed on the skin to record that voltage vs time of the heart’s electrical activity. It is then measured, interpreted and printed out a graph. An ECG can often detect heart disease, abnormal heart rhythm, or heart attacks.
