Audiogram

An audiogram is a graph which shows the results of a pure-tone hearing test. It illustrates the employee’s hearing ability by presenting their hearing at various frequencies. Audiograms are designed to present an estimate of the softest sounds an individual can detect. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) mandates that a hearing conservation program must be instilled if employees are exposed to noise levels that average 85dB over the course of an 8 hour workday.
